I got instructions when I called them from
the Atlanta airport not to eat too much! Arriving there,
they take me to this taco bar right away! Typical because
with Mexico you think of tacos and, yeah, there I am,.in
Mexico, eating tacos, chili and the rest with my friends..
as if we have met before!
Next day I get a trip around town, of course,
on these fantastic Juarez buses. Before I went I read the
web page of juarez-mexico.com very well! And I must say...
it is like it says... the people are nice, and Juarez is
really a city which has soul. That soul thing is what strikes
me. There is music in the buses, just perfect, not
too much, just good.
It's a busy city, but its also very relaxing.
Like every city, of course, you have to be careful.
Where I come from, Rotterdam in the Netherlands, the crime
rate is high! I understood that Juarez is also a place of
crime, but, to be honest, I didn't see or feel any of that.
Of course, it exists, but as long as you be a safe person
and don't look for trouble or troubled places, every place
in the world is a safe place! Just take your precautions.
